Ah. I started my day off in the Word and prayer. Then my first stop was to see one of my best friends from highschool. She was one of those friends who I wish I had spent more time with...Anyway now she is married and has an adorable little giril!! Her husband is a youth minister and she's a nurse. It was so good to see them. Then I gave Leah her weekly guitar lesson. It went well, I thought. She's a natural at it I think. It rained cats and dogs off and on all day. Today my temporary tag expired so I ran around in circles getting a new one. But I had fun with the people working in the tag office :) And they told me to bring a resume by incase they're hiring right now! So then I came home a vegged out a little while Dad napped and I watched Office Space, the edited TV version. Did some stretching to make up for all the running we did yesterday and then headed off to church. I walked through the halls in the childrens' building saying hello and catching up with people I know. After we went over the VBS songs I ran into Melinda Grice from highschool! It turns out she's applying for a job at the same place Audrey works, who I'm having lunch with on Thursday! So I'm excited about hopefully finding her a job. Then we went to visit an old friend from high school who has gone through a really hard time the past couple of years. The darndest thing is that this girl was such a huge influence on me in those days. She uplifted and encouraged me. Now she's not the same girl and it's hard to watch that. But I also know that we serve the same God. And our God is in the restoration business. And sometimes He allows us to be broken so that He can restore us to even better than we were before!
