Today was supposed to be my first day of work at the school board. But there was a "snow storm" so all the schools shut down and I got my first day off. Ha ha.

Oh what an amazing day! I woke up to the NeedtoBreathe singing on the radio. Had an amazing prayer time of surrender. Had a great time at lunch with Audrey. She thinks that me and Mike RImes would be good together haha. I mean, he's an amazing guy. Very attractive. But I just don't know because we never really hit things off at training. Plus he's dead set on going to China. But still it does intrigue me. Then I worked out at Olive, visited with Cindy and Ben, did some laundry, picked Mom up from work. I got a call from Landrum about a possible job opening...but it only pays $7.50-8.00/hour. And it's pretty far away. But I have an interview with them tomorrow. I had a really good time with Leah tonight. We talked about everything. Today's church, which college she should go to, all sorts of things. Plus we got free sandwiches at Chik-fil-A!! I don't know. Plus the weather was glorious today. It was all round a good day. Can't wait to see what tomorrow holds! Oh plus I went to Tringa's music store and they want to hire me on to give piano lessons!!

It's been a good 2 days. Still pretty emotional. Not sure why other than the fact that I've been extra reflective lately. Saturday we got Ben all day. Just me and Mom. We went shopping and to the Naval Aviation museum. Ben had such a good time! Then we went to eat at TImes Grill. Saw the Edmunds there. Then we went home and watched T.V. till Cindy and Kyle came to pick up their baby boy. Sunday morning I was just so groggy. I guess I'm just tired and bored and I still don't feel like I really fit in anywhere. But come to think of it, I don't think I've ever really felt like I fit in at IBC...Haha. I might have a part-time job at the D.E.P.!! My next door neighbor works there and she said they might be hiring. So we'll see. The Pattersons came over for lunch and to watch some football. Then after church tonight Andersen invited me to hang out with some of the college kids so we all went to Burger King. Then to Pace AOG for kareokee. But you had to pay. Turns out it was a fund raiser so we just sat in the hallway for a while and then Dad came and got me. Oh yeah. My car won't start...Kyle thinks its the alternator. Fortunately I can borrow the van tomorrow so it's not a huge issue. I just hope things don't keep breaking like that...
Today I've had a desire to spend more time in the Word and in prayer. And singing and playing music. One thing we talked about this morning in church is the dependability of God. You can always count on Him to follow through with His promises. And He's still good, even if what I want to happen doesn't happen. Even if I don't get a full time job because He's provided me with a place to stay and food to eat and more than enough clothes to wear. So I'm content just waiting on Him. Lord I pray that I don't get destracted from what you're teaching me right now. Help me to wait on You, to be still and trust You've got it under control.
