Oh what a day. Dad took drove me into the big city to pick up my car (which I left at the Pattersons') I was all set for the day. I had my coffee and I was ready for a good work-out at the gym followed by shower and lunch. Then I was gonna turn in some applications and make some head-way on this job hunt. But then...my car wouldn't start :( So that brought me to a dead end. Dad came and we found some jumper cables. Then I had to take my car home to recharge the battery. I was feeling a little depressed after that. Mom and Dad had invited me to dinner with them at the Horns' but I just felt like the 5th wheel...I really have been hungering for a good concert lately but there are none here in town. Well long story short, Dad and I picked up Ben from Cindy's. Went to dinner at the Horns, and then the free concert at Coffee Break. The concert wasn't terrific, just a guy playing some cover songs on his acoustic guitar. But Leah and I had fun.
I was tempted to look at this day as a waste of time, because I didn't really accomplish anything. But I know that when ever we're faced with road blocks, there is a reason or them. They're all ordained by the Author and Creator to this great mystery. So I can rest in peace, knowing that this day was planned long before I planned it myself.
